At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

So Condescending, Unnecessarily Critical [Oliver]

I have the tendency of getting very physical

So watch your step 'cause if I do you'll need a miracle

Rakasa loped along the worn path, massive paws thudding the ground in a rhythmic beat. His route was direct toward the lake, stretching across a large field alongside the river. He couldn't take the trails in the woods that meant jumping logs and winding through trees. He simple wasn't built for that kind of agility. Broody, silver and gold eyes scanned the area as he ran; he wasn't looking to draw much attention today. Every so often he'd return to the lake for a swim and drink of cool, fresh water. Honing his skills was Rak's favorite pass-time. If he wasn't training, he was putting his skills to good use. Swimming was a great muscle-toner and he loved the way his reflection rippled on the surface of the river. More often than not he'd find himself mesmerized by the swirling and twirling of his own visage in the water. It was the only time that his exterior matched what was truly inside. A wicked grin spread across his maw at the thought. Twisted inside and out.

Sounds of rushing water broke Rakasa from his inner musings and muscle memory directed his paws along the river toward his usual destination. Soon the river would empty out into the lake, and this exact place was his favorite. Every time he visited the lake he'd return to the same spot. He was, after all, a creature of habit. The demon wasn't quite sure why he had picked the spot, he remembered something happening there months before, but by now the memory had faded away. Piled under every other wretched thought he'd had in the time since. He was sure, however, that it wasn't significant.

As the shallow water at the base of the river came into view Rakasa shook with anticipation. Well, at least until he caught sight of another varg on his land. A growl ripped from his throat as his long legs slowed to a steady stalk. His large ears pinned forward and his thick skull hung low as the enormous, ebony brute moved in the direction of the new wolf. When he was close enough, and still hidden, he took in the sight of his opponent, quickly realizing that he hardly even was one. Long and lanky, and white as freshly fallen snow. His legs and face were dark as night but other than his strange proportions, that was the only remaining normal characteristic of his breed. He wasn't worth the fight Rak was preparing for. One good devious smirk and a few choice words would have this boy running for the hills. Rakasa chuckled lowly, cutting through the silence like a knife, as his grin widened farther. The look in his eyes could make the devil nervous.

Little ghost what are you doing out here? These woods are dangerous, I could eat you if I felt so inclined.

ooc: That was part of what he said to Oliver the first time they met, I figured it would be a good way to come full circle. Rak doesn't remember meeting Oliver - he's kinda scatter brained, a lot goes on in there lol - I thought it might be a clever way to jog Oliver's memory. Like deja vu. c:

Does it thrill?
Does it sting when you feel what I bring?
Does it kill? Does it burn?
Is it painful to learn that it's me that has all the control?
