Sadly she wasn’t in the mood today to speak to others today. Apparently her Frankenstein had given her powerful potent of herbs and some weird fuzzy grass that caused her to feel simply exhausted. She wasn’t in her right state of mind and she was eager to fall back to her den and sleep, even though she was wanting to be out and about. Lying down within the den kept her from interacting with the very pack she had built and protected and yet time for herself and rest seemed quite desirable. Yet her desires were dashed away thanks to Majora and his loud mouth. Annoyed she made her presence before the two, dark eyes darting from the white boy towards the auburn colored she girl, wondering just why her presence was so needed. Ebony banner peppered with grey waved side to side in an indifferent manner not minding at all that the two had dipped their head in front of her. Even though Majora had assured her that there was nothing to worry about his female companion, Tick Tock kept her cold gaze upon Zelda a moment longer until she noticed the change in tone of the male pup. Sapphire eyes darted back towards the young boy as he begins to talk about other matters.
She had put the time and hard work to build and create the pack within the low grassy lands. She was attentive, active, and purposefully made her presence known to all members of the pack. She helped each individual grow and learn, helping them tap in and exceed their full potential. That is what an Alpha does and because of her actions she gained their loyalty. The wolves that had originally stayed within the fields, as soon as Jaidah came to power, it was not their fault they had to deal with a failed Queen. She had saved them and built them to become something much better. Tick Tock wondered if perhaps the reason why Jaidah continued to come after the fields she did not deserve was out of jealously or mere stupidity, and the Monster wondered...just when would the one-eyed wolf stop embarrassing herself. With an apathetic drawl her soft voice would slither out slowly finding the topic at hand uninteresting and puzzling all the same.
“Thank you Majora, but I already have a fine healer. As for this Widow if she would like to follow in her Mother’s failed paw steps, then let her. If Widow would like to not fail like her Mother there are other packs she can go for. I do know Jaidah went to live in Diveen when Covet was in charge, but when your Achilles took the throne she left. She had her children with her and should they return to Diveen remind Achilles that should any Angel or Diveen member...even if they are a former one....come for Asteraia then the treaty between our pack will be terminated. I do wonder though Majora, has anyone else ever noticed that I or my pack haven’t bothered with hunting down Jaidah or her pups? I have not treated Jaidah similarly to how the Diveen Alphas and the Spirane Alpha attacked and chased away their assailant, Purge? I took a failed pack and completely changed it around, impressive don’t you think?”
The matters of Jaidah and Widow were far from her mind. She was quite assured that herself and Tobias were capable of keeping their home. In time many will learn that size and age does not matter in fights. The Alphas that first held Asteraia were old, that much was true, and yet they were new to fighting. She had been fighting her entire life – against wolves, against other predators, against Mother Nature, and more importantly, against herself. She was not well versed on Tobias’s life, but she knew he was a survivor with his own battles. They were a bit old, but their lives were filled with a variety of experiences that not many wolves could say they were familiar with. They were survivors and they were not wolves that could be so easily defeated. Each time the Fates deemed they needed a new challenge they defeated whomever was their opponent head on, and waited until the next type of challenge came. They were different than the rest and Death would be the only way to stop them and Death did not seem interested in the two at all. Seeing Majora sit caused the ebony she-wolf to follow suit, watching him quietly as he began to talk once more. With a slight nod of her head with approval she agreed to his desire to come within her territory not finding him a nuisance.
“You and your group of assassins are welcomed to and I am not bothered with you two heading towards the beach, but allow me to rub my scent on you two – that way you two are safe to wander.”
It was in each of their best interest that Tobias does not come for them. The last thing she needed were two pups blood in her fields. There would be questions asked by many and the last thing she wanted was more wolves coming out to spy on them. The mountain pack already sent two of their own along her borders and she was displeased to know that a pack she had done nothing to was willing to lurk so very closely without coming to her first. Her scent would keep the two safe from her companion. As he begins to discuss this unknown wolf that desired her blood she couldn’t help, but spread her black lips back into a Cheshire like grin, lowering her dial towards Hyrule as her tone darkened and carried with it a heavy threat.
“I do not know of a wolf called Viora, but if she has any intention of coming for blood then perhaps she should talk to Jaidah and see how Jaidah looks. A warning perhaps to this Viora that it is best I am not crossed with.”
Perhaps this Viora was mistaken. Though this Viora was hardly important to her. Right now her entire focus was upon the auburn she-wolf that remained so very quiet. Sapphire eyes remained locked upon the young she-wolf, her gaze alluring, as she quietly stared, waiting...patiently. Half-torn ear twitched the moment the girl finally decided to speak and her dial would quickly swing towards the girl, invading her personal space, keeping her eyes locked upon the teal that belonged to Zelda. No one from the blood of the former Alphas stepped into her home or told her their gratitude for eradicating Jaidah and her presence from the fields. There is a slight sway in her tail quite pleased to hear such words. It was not her true intention to seek vengeance for the elder Alphas, but she was pleased to hear that someone outside the fields was grateful for keeping the one-eyed wolf from claiming what she had never owned before. Her words are soft in this moment as her candor in visible, her tone unassumingly tender.
“You are the first one of their blood to come here and you are the first one to show gratitude. Let the others that share their blood know they are welcomed to come and see the fields, you can even stay here if you’d like. The only wolf that was here before Jaidah came was Galileo, but anything in regards to your grandparents have disappeared and I am not the best wolf to come to for answers and I doubt you could find anything here of theirs.”
