The storm had passed tonight, but Tick Tock knew there would always be another one. Winter would come and go and then once again she would have to be prepared to protect the pack she called family. They were hers. All of them were. She had created a place where all wolves of different walks of like could come and call the low grassy lands – home. Wolves that craved each other’s flesh, wolves that held different beliefs, wolves that had some sort of unearthly gift, wolves that had something to run from their past, and wolves that were willing to be something more – all were welcomed and accepted. Each wolf within her ranks were strong and she would continue to help them grow and exceed their full potential. After all, she swore that the pack in Asteraia would never again be weak, and she was not a creature that ever went back on her word. They were her family and this was her home.
She was exhausted and naturally she should be. After all she pushed herself to overcome the elements of the stormy weather to engage the one-eyed opponent. The Monster was assured that she would heal in time to face Jaidah or any other threat that would make itself along her borders. Tobias had shown that he was capable of not only being the True Demon in all of Moladion, but being quite an effective and brutal fighter. They were alike in some ways and so very different in others, and it wasn’t a shock to see that their children would attune their own personalities to both their parents. Though this year they would not be producing any heirs, with their age the lust of winter was not strong on them, and the fields already had their heirs in training.
Though that didn’t mean there would no longer be pups to take care of, soon her pack would grow and flourish and with that would come pups. Though she was unsure that this year there would be any, after all, no one had informed her of such things and no one but her, Tobias, and Flare were an item. Her breathing would continue to slow down as her sapphire eyes began to fall a few times, the ebony wolf not willing to rest just yet. Dark ears twitched when she heard her Frankenstein speak and inquire about rules in regards to pups. With a heavy sigh her cold tone slithered out and the Alpha of Asteraia would be quiet – the herbs and grass doing its trick and putting the Monster into a well-deserved slumber.
“Anyone can have children, Nakato. There is no rule saying you cannot have pups. I am not that cruel.”
