Once this place used to hold the yin and yang scenery of Blossom Field. Now, there are miles of winding tundra. To the north, this tundra is cruel and dry, with wisping weaves of tall grasses. The ground is cracked and cold, and it hardly is ever moistened by dearly desired rainfall. To the south, the tundra becomes more prosperous - meadows of flowers and herbs grace the ground. Part of this connects near Elebeam Weargtreow - however it is an impassible field of poppy, which will put any wolf trying to cross it into a deep slumber, and eventually die.

Those looking to hunt here will find mice, snakes, and rabbits, along with pronghorns, bison, and javalinas.

">Buried alive, drowning in memories… this is what the little boy’s life had come to..? His depth perception was gone and as he sat there the sky seemed to suffocate him. Getting closer and closer, he was going to drown in the grayish mesh that floated, oh so high above him. And the blinding white fluff, what was it? A tentative black paw reached out, the gleaming surface begging to be touched. He cried out in pain as the icy temperature transferred into his fragile paw. The onyx boy could have sworn he was in hell—A beautifully enchanting Hell of pure snow. What a contradiction. The blackened figure didn’t try to fight this demise, maybe he would have gladly accepted it. What life did he have, there was no way he could… Young one, where is your family? Are you hurt? What is wrong? It was barrage of sound, motion, heat, and ice all at once.

The little onyx boy sat frozen, his one deep sea pool looking for the figure who had yanked him out of what little warmth he’d had. He started to whimper quietly, was this a cruel joke? Where was the body of the voice..? Was this a dream…? Vestige was more and more confused until he finally spotted the lilac pools, floating. He yelped in surprise and started to back away. He could not yet understand how to see with his one good eye, and her white fur was blending into the cold, icy tundra that he was sinking into. What is your name? The voice with lilac eyes had softened, and taken a tender tone that the onyx bruteling wasn’t so afeared of. Vestige. M-my name is Vestige… It was all the boy could sputter out for the moment. He was still trying to comprehend the floating eyes and mysterious voice. As he back away from the invisible form, it started to come into focus, her amorphous bodice took a slender format and her eyes sat above a black nose and that was above the roses of her lips. Against the grayish background her upper body took form. Two white audits stood tall on her crown, her neck lead down into strong shoulders but below that she became snow again, but with new found visibility he found himself not so nearly afraid of the not so mysterious voice.

Vestige blinked trying to focus more on what little portion of her body he could see. Wh-why are you missing your other half..? The question sounded ridiculous even to the questioner, but he couldn’t find any other way to ask it. The poor half-blind boy didn’t fully understand his lack of visibility. Seeing as he had been born this way (No pun intended), Vestige didn’t understand or comprehend that other wolves could see differently. They could see birds high in the sky, but the ink stained boy saw that same bird mere feet from his crown. He cowered in fear from these objects that threatened to descend on him. I’m alone… Vestige murmured quietly… he himself was still trying to understand this Hell that he was suspended in, but now reality was starting to set in. They left m-me… In that burrow. She wanted me to forgive her… but why..? The hours before his abandonment were vague and fuzzy, even the picture of his mother was fading. His sister was but a mere dream.
