A lone ear flickers to the side where Eden approaches, her eyes instantly going to him when he appears. The mostly obsidian wolf had made no call, she was content to wait, it was not like she had anywhere to be. It was just another way to get a feel for a pack, were their borders closely guarded or more relaxed. Her stark coal colored eyes, rimmed in the blue grey that also ticked her black, watched him with appreciation while he approached. The scent of the borders matches the scent of the wolf approaching, instantly piquing her curiosity. While she had no real idea in mind on who might greet her it was kind of nice that it was the alpha; the sooner she could gauge whether or not she had an affinity for him the better. Obsidian eyes watch him with burning intensity the blue grey color surrounding them making the black seem that much darker. The girl doesn’t bother to hide she is studying him, that was what these times were for, there was no point in hiding the curiosity he’d incurred by being alpha. “The brightest flames cast the darkest shadows.” A smile draws back her smooth ebony lips as the retort is delivered with a nod in her whimsical voice, a wink attached to it. Watching the alpha watch her she can’t help but straighten her deceptively feminine body, to show off just how capable and healthy she was. Her black, blue sheened, body might look soft and gentle just like a perfect lady, zero could be done about the soft curves that clung to her angles, but she was nothing of the sort. As a puppy she had often imagined herself growing to resemble some tank like creature; it’d been much to her dismay over the years as she grew to resemble the pretty little thing her mother had been. Yet it, like every weakness, could be used as a strength if you knew how. And an attractive girl, she had discovered, for whatever illogical reason was usually trusted and confided in more. A pretty little weapon for his disposal if he knew how to use her. |
