Once this place used to hold the yin and yang scenery of Blossom Field. Now, there are miles of winding tundra. To the north, this tundra is cruel and dry, with wisping weaves of tall grasses. The ground is cracked and cold, and it hardly is ever moistened by dearly desired rainfall. To the south, the tundra becomes more prosperous - meadows of flowers and herbs grace the ground. Part of this connects near Elebeam Weargtreow - however it is an impassible field of poppy, which will put any wolf trying to cross it into a deep slumber, and eventually die.

Those looking to hunt here will find mice, snakes, and rabbits, along with pronghorns, bison, and javalinas.

Find Me In The Darkness

Athene had found a new pack to call her home but it was a shell really, a place to crawl into at night, a place to sleep. She had yet to form relationships with any that lived within, knowing only two names to speak of - Lucaya, the Alphess, and Pierce, the Beta. Neither had strayed long with her and instead had left her to her own devices, which was perfectly fine with Athene - she preferred silence to speech most of the time, unless the speech was conversation worth having. Too often wolves spoke just to hear the sound of their own voice, and it was one of the many things that irked the timberess. For though Athene had many admirable traits - strength, dexterity, beauty among others - one of her main flaws was her personality.

Though the pack that they were raised in held no ranks, there was still a certain hierarchy and set of rules to be followed. The position that her father held - that Athene herself had held - was one that demanded perhaps the most amount of respect out of all of them - the position of warrior. For it was they that held the most complex and unclear of positions. The Warriors protected the borders, hunted for the pack, sought out the pack's enemy, and killed any intruders. They were the largest of sects and held the most amount of responsibility and power... It was only natural that Athene was raised in such a way that she felt superior to those beneath her. For most were just that - beneath her. She had certain responsibilities that were hers and hers alone... And now with the disappearance of her mate - be it by death or choice - she realized that she had to make true her duties.

She had found a home to further the ideologies of her own pack, even if it was not in the same manner that her father's pack had been run. Now it was her job to find a mate with whom she could reproduce and pass down her heritage, her legacy of knowledge and training. But still her heart yearned for Zev. She could not deny it, and only hoped that with time she would be able to block off her feelings as she should have from the very beginning.

The timberess moved from the packlands, for there was too much fuss going about right now, as already the Queen who had welcomed her had been challenged for her position. It was too busy for Athene, she wanted her silence and calm for her meditation, and so she moved to Blossom Meadows, enjoying the beauty and the sheer quiet that came over her.
