My cry carries much better this morning. Even if any of my sisters could hear my call I doubt they'd be able to track me down, I'll have better luck if I look for them myself. It does no good to think too hard in this sort of situation; pick a direction and go, hope for the best. Really, I'm faced with two options: head back the way we came in hopes of finding the three of them huddled together waiting for me; alternatively, I could head West and hope for the best, picking up the trail along the way.

Back I head, against my better judgement.

Hunger pulls at my mind before too long and I stop a moment to eat some snow, hoping to quell the distracting feeling. It is during this rest I became aware of another nearby, they haven't taken any care to mask themselves nor have they called out to me to announce their approach. I turn to the stranger, irritated when I find a mere pup, not any of the three I'm looking for, not quite as large as I am but nowhere near the diminutive stature of my siblings. "I'm not lost- my sisters are. I'm only interested in being led to them, so unless they're there I'll have to pass, thanks." Far too irritated to mind pleasantries, I give a dismissive response, blinded by my singular desire to locate my siblings.

Wait.

I stop dead in my tracks as logical thought returns to me- "You… You couldn't help me find them, could you? I got separated from my three sisters in the storm. They're out there and they need me." I look over my shoulder at the tan stranger, no older than I am and out wandering the land picking up strangers.
