Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

heros may die...but legends endure

He was her shadow apparently. With every light a shadow must be cast. It was impossible to do anything else unless no life existed. Zelda found the shadow she had wrought from her light, the shadow was attached to her very being. While she was so full of heart and love the dark, heartless beast she had managed to bind too was her opposite. It was opposite to what her heart would desire, but some reason it didn’t surprise her that perhaps this shadow she was feeling within her was not her at all, but him. Her mother had described something similar with her imprint. A feeling of shadow on her soul, but she wasn’t scared even if maybe she should have been. Zelda thought maybe that was what happened. This unsettling feeling setting in her was him, attaching to her soul. Slowly it was coming together that they were imprints. A terrifying prospect all in its own, but her feelings were unchanged towards red eared angel. The heart was powerful after all, and while soul was powerful too Zelda knew it was not all knowing.

She took a deep breath as his scent filled her nose. She wasn’t allured to it as he was hers, but it was quite distinct and she knew she could pick it out anywhere should they ever cross paths elsewhere. The growl was soon to follow. Just as she thought when their eyes first met he was dark, instinctual, but he wasn’t completely. Obviously given his farce he was intelligent and knew how to act in front of a group. Now his true nature was starting to show. Perhaps if he didn’t had such a dark heart she would have found him handsome. His fur was so unique after all, never had she seen anyone like him, but looks didn’t matter to her. What was inside did. It always would to her. She wanted to help him though, see the light; surely he had to feel her light just like she felt his darkness. Maybe she could temper it?

Zelda didn’t move as he approached, circling around her as if she was a kill she remained stoic. Her tail flicked, she knew somewhere deep down even though he was filled with darkness he would never hurt her. They were imprints, the bond she felt was strong between them. Light and darkness mirroring one another. Her teal eyes followed him and still she remained unflinching even has he pressed his liver nose into her fur. Her heart raced slightly, waiting for him to move back. It felt like an eternity before he pulled away, another rumble reaching her ear for a moment an she swears he was drooling on her of all things.

Zelda’s tail flicks and her eyes narrow upon him seriously as he seats himself before her just a few inches away. She stares at him. Teal to teal eyes watching him, for a moment before he whispers a word. Mine he says almost warning her to say otherwise. ”No.” The reply was simple and firm. Almost like a mother scolding a child, ”I am not yours, but I will be your friend if you would like?” She offers him this as a way so he would know she would like him close, if not just to keep an eye on him, she hopes he is not as bad as he feels but something inside of her told her f give the chance he would tear everything apart. She had no idea how much or little control of him she would have, but she hoped with the bond he would at least respect her wishes. She didn’t want to destroy the chance, after all she felt a strange need to know him more to keep him safe though his type constantly didn’t deserve such mercy or protection. She wanted it for him. Hopefully they could come to some type of understanding.
