Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She wondered how he really felt about her answer, almost sensing that he wanted it to be something other than what she said but it was certainly not a wrong answer. She knew that he felt very strongly towards her, that she was his in many ways but he had also trained her in knowing that she is of The Shade first and foremost. That cannot be something that can be shared so easily.

His paw is shrugged off and she now sits as she looks to him with dazzling rainbow eyes, eyes that never seem to fade regardless of anything that has happened to her. Not that she really remembers her old life anymore or her puphood in Diveen. It was so far off, so distant that it was almost a dream. She listens to him as he speaks of the Shade being quiet on this day. She did not feel the strong urges of the Shade today either- but Underidge was certainly more in tune with the Shade than she was. She could feel it, was trained to understand the feelings within her, but Underidge was always more keen. She could only hope to be tuned in just as he sometime soon.

Her long and sleek pelt of dark tones, blanks and browns with her brilliant gold and red, was soft on this day as her brow lifts, the three golden dots on her forehead moving slightly as he mentions going out into the world. Her rainbow eyes seem to glow a bit brighter with a slight movement of her head. She nods to him, following his lead. The darkness of the den was suddenly changed by the feeling of sun upon her face. It is warm, a calming thing as her eyes turn out into Glorall. Her tall, thin form stretches slightly, a yawn escaping her as he suddenly tells her to lead the way. Her head turns to him as she rights herself, a small grin cracking on her lips.

"Okay then, as you wish," she says with her smooth tones. She sees the way that he looks at her, but it was all too normal for her...and perhaps she enjoys the attention. She had grown fully now, feminine in appearance and built with long elegant legs. She turns, the gold on her back catching the light as her rainbow eyes peel from him, and into the world ahead. Her dark paws go forth, really only letting instinct and curiosity take over as she breaks into a gentle jog. She heads away from the ocean, through the trees as she will eventually break into the Ruieze Fields.
