♥YOUR LOVE IS LIKE A DRUG♥
The little lady sat with her mind occupied by little spurts of ideas. Where she would go from here, where her brother might be. She turned her head scanning the area for the barn owl that had disturbed her slumber, maybe he would come back and play with her! Affinity was still unaware of the watching eyes and the danger that the owl had posed to her. She didn’t understand she could have been dinner or still could be. She may have been old enough to see and hear her surroundings but she wasn’t trained enough to use them, she was rather impulsive. Too much so for her own good. She giggled quietly and played the inky surface of the lake, distracted solely by the ripple of waves the extended out from her toes. Her brindled reflection blurred, and obscured the reflection of her visitor just behind her.
A velvet voice disrupted the brindled girl’s thoughts. She turned her head and tilted it up her deep seas scanning up from black stilts to a black lined eyes and a darkened muzzle. Hello, little one. You seem awfully alone. Affinity made a contorted face of ‘maybe, maybe not’, her rosy lips somewhat pressed together and lifted up into a half smirk. Her pools rolled slightly back under creased brows, Not with you around, I’m not. The name’s Affinity! And you are? Her voice was quiet in comparison to her older companions, who had lain herself to the ground. Affinity’s eyes trailed her every motion. She smiled as the lady reached her visual level, You wouldn’t happen to have anything to eat, would you? An audible grumble came from the brindled pups stomach, she giggled quietly in protest. She hadn’t eaten since… confusion lit Affinity’s face. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d eaten or seen her mum. Where was her mum and brother..?
A small tear welled up in the corner of her eye and trickled over, falling down her façade and into the black surface. Ripples expanded out from the tear drop, Affinity was starting to feel the loneliness of having no one she knew. Even with the wolfess next to her, she knew instinctually that this wasn’t her mother. Have you seen my mum..? Affinity looked to the white and obsidian accented lady for answers, her eyes gleaming with fresh tears. Why did mum leave her? Her emotions were spread about and still uncontrollable, hence her inability to control the flood of tears that were starting to cascade down her russet and onyx cheeks. I don’t understand… Is this a game?
