For a brief moment, Arcana is frozen in the silence that follows the spoken name. Arcana too, has had quite the trying day. There is the nagging feeling that all of this is just some wonderful dream, and next she'll wake to find herself next to Eurion. His handsome face flashes in her memory but memory of this beautiful stallion does not bring feelings of adolescent love to the surface, as Orhan's image does. Instead, a mix of unpleasant feelings stir within her belly.

The painted mare is, thankfully, not long lost in through. She is quickly brought back to life by Carys' joyous return to the shores of the oasis. Arcana reels back from the water too, to join Carys with Orhan on dry ground.

She looks a bit like an Arabian as excitement arches her neck, and her nostrils flare. She answers Carys' greeting by meeting her half way with her own muzzle. Exotic ears are attentively pricked, touching at the tips. Arcana doesn't realize it but her own tail is flagged, and her weight is shifting eagerly from one foreleg to the other.

"I can't believe we're all here!", Arcana honestly admits. "It's so good to see you!"

Arcana almost asks where Carys had been, and then remembers where she herself has been all this time. She can't expect Carys to answer a question like that if she isn't willing to share her own story. Arcana has, simply put, been on the mainland, but so much happened there, experiences that she's not ready to relive. Someday, she might confide in her friends, but for now, she can't ruin this happy time by bringing up bygones that belong in the past.
