The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Brave Soldiers Are Dying

It was oddly quiet since the fatal large cats appeared into the territory. One cougar was enough to kill a lone wolf in a fatal lunge. Yet the Spartan had the courage to unexpectedly lead the attack alone. He hadn't realized that while his grace and form slithered up from branch to branch of a tree that the pack was slowly gathering behind him under the cover of brush. In the end, he had Grey Wind had taken down the male who tried so desperately to save his mate. In a way - it was sad. They had killed a pair of cats that could've been a happy family once.

It made him want that for his own . . . But he had no one really. He was mainly a loner. His only ever willful and welcomed encounter was with Azula. The girl was attractive . . . yes. But the voice of his parents had washed over him. They stuck strictly to wolves of their own color, by that means the pack was nothing more than black wolves. Yet he wasn't part of that pack anymore . . . He was an Abendrot assassin. A silent killer - Who was if he didn't know any better he was losing his mind.

Yet the soldier triumphed on. He wasn't much of a lover, he was more a fighter. He wanted someone to be with for company - Yet a small part of him wanted more from her. She deserved more. He barley knew anything about her, but her reaction to his past was exactly how he had wanted anyone to react if they knew. She was the only person in Blossom who knew.

He moved with a limp towards a small den that smelled of her. She hadn't jumped to him, wanting to nuzzle him with affection after hearing his story of his home. Ylva was still alive but after their encounter she had just left and not returned. He needed healing but he didn't quite know who the healer was here. So he limped to the beautiful girls den, poking his snout in. "Azula?
