Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

See the lightning in your eyes,
Arcturus is a mystery. Even the few granted with knowledge of his existence could not decipher the skeleton boy. Within the furian bloodline, he was an enigma, carrying some of the traits of his parents but also retaining his own individuality. As far as Moladion was concerned, he was a myth, a ghost that haunted the shadows just out of their sight. Wolves would be wise to check over their shoulders when they felt like they were being watched, they may just find his hungry gaze devouring them whole. Knowledge was power in this world, despite what so many like to believe, and secrets could be carefully sharpened into daggers and stabbed poetically into one's back. As long as the secrete keeper had secrets to keep, he would be an unstoppable threat to any that dared test him.

His words are so calm as they come forth, each spoken with purpose. Despite how little he liked to speak, he could not deny how good he was at it. It is apparent that he has Eden's interest at its fullest with the simple mention of a name: Dieloch. "Yes, a curious thing, isn't he?" the older says, a small smile slipping across his features as Arcturus continues on with his secret. As his words come to and end, soulless eyes continue to gaze upon he ocean king, waiting to ingest and digest even the smallest reactions from this male. "I have had another follow him," Eden begins, causing black ears to flicker ever so slightly in acknowledgment and intrigue. His words had only reaffirmed prior suspicions of the troubled male from Glorall, interesting the white male further.

"Yet to hear it from another source is most curious. Dieloch is, after all, an unusual wolf. He spoke of his mother being a wolf by the name of Fathom, but little of his father. I wonder if that there is key information to this war he has aided with declaring." Eden muses allowed, loosing his mind to thought and allowing Arcturus's mind to begin to form probabilities, new questions, and a new plan to exploit further information. A small simper traces the young boys lips. "Quite often children inherit their parent's views even if they don't understand them, their minds so easily molded," his deep baritones hum, mind settling on the idea to pick apart Dieloch's brain if given the chance. Did he have daddy issues? Or was he simply a mindless drone for his father to live vicariously through?

The skeleton demon watches in intrigue as he adds another tidbit about the males pack mate. Arcturus did not really care about the male's cannibalistic tendencies, most cannibals were so engulfed by their hunger they posed no threat to him. They also helped cull the weak from the world. Unfortunately, this did pose quite the problem for Eden who snickers in amusement, not only would this Dieloch draw the ire of the angels, but also the families of victims he so carelessly killed. "He would be a curiosity to me," the older male begins with a laugh, his demeanor quickly shifting to one more serious as his eyes are cast into the pack lands, "Yet, he will prove to be a burden regardless of any merits he may have."

"A burden is weakness..." he says lowly, falling into silence. Arcturus nods, agreeing entirely with his words but there is a deeper meaning to his nod: the boy has made up his mind. On what has yet to be seen, his mind content. The alpha's head twists back suddenly, copper eyes locking on to the figure that had lingered upon his border for so very long now. "Abandon the caves," he states simply, stepping closer to the furian male, "and join me here." It is sudden, but it does not surprise the golden touched boy. A simper traces his lips as he allows the silence to almost fester between them with anticipation. This was a once in a life time invitation, one that would change everything for Arcturus if he chose to accept. Power or freedom.....that was the question.

"You wonder why I have come here to tell you this information," Arcturus begins, his words seemingly off tangent but holding significant importance that will keep the Sea king's ears trained on him. Soulless eyes seemed to stare into Eden's own thoughts in these moment, reaching in and picking them apart; it was eerie and made many shudder under his intense gaze. "You intrigue me, far more than any has before." He takes a step closer as the other male has once done, his body language not aggressive, but perhaps excited was a better description. "Our ideals are similar. You have also walked this earth longer than me and thus have knowledge and skills I do not , that could make me better. Of course there are also things that I know but you do not, that I could offer to you, call it equivalent exchange."

His words are deep with meaning that he knows Eden has understood. They could better each other, become quite the unstoppable force together. The idea was so very tantalizing to think about. "My allegiance isn't bought, but it is earned," he muses allowed. No one had been worthy of the skeleton's allegiance outside of his brother and his mother, but his mother was dead and his brother had vanished, leaving him with no one. Arcturus had made up his mind, today was just confirmation that this was the correct choice. "I will join you, Eden. You have earned my allegiance."

His words would bring great satisfaction to the Ocean king. They could begin their work together. A golden touched paw steps over the invisible border, sealing the deal. Arcturus belonged to Glorall and would help Glorall become great. "It would also appear you have attracted some siblings of mine here that I must watch over," he says suddenly with a small chuckle rumbling in his chest. He had seen Bellatrix and Dirge run here after the death of their mother, along with his half brothers Illias adopted into Taviora and Zagan stolen to Spirane. Since his parents were gone, it was his job to make sure the furian blood line did not get in to too much trouble, did not find it's self wiped out so easily.
