During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

A silence set in over the clearing, the two friends watching each other. Ameira sat high above like an angel from above, and he sat below her. The fiery demon watched the smile on her face flicker and she chuckled in response to his tease. For as dark as Munashii was it was his new home and he would do his best to lighten up the mood. Horizon dipped his head to her, a smile lifting his kissers faintly. A cold breeze blew through the clearing sending the Queen’s fur a fuss and Horizon’s sleek against his body. The bastard boy couldn’t wait until the heat of summer returned once again, he coat unlike most wolves was made for the desert plains. He’d never experienced a winter as cold as this one, he’d rarely seen temperatures so low… So cold. But the kalak soon forgot his troubles and cold body as another wolfess wandered in. Her tone not so friendly, Horizon felt the spines on his back lift up. Well hello there. Quite horrible party you're throwing here. A silent snarl curled his kissers back into an angry scowl. The name’s Storm. I’m guessing you’re the Queen? But before the kalak could spit out an acidic reply Ameira took up her role as queen. You would be guessing correctly, Storm. I am Ameira, the newly crowned Alphess of this pack. What is your business here, coming before me on my throne?

Horizon stood up, his towering figure just off to the side of the stranger, but again he seemed to have an interruption. A colorless brute wandered into the clearing and added a lighter tone to the setting, I’m actually the Queen. He winked playfully, the joke to obviously laid out. Oh, what have I been doing, keeping your seat warm, my lady? Their banter had lightened the mood slightly, Seeing as you all know that I am nothing close to a regale, that I am instead a wanderer, and a lonely one at that, I seek admission into your pack with the utmost sincerity and the promise to never assume your title again. In any case, I do not think I look nearly feminine enough to pull it off. Horizon had to chuckle at the self made joke, but his heckles couldn’t help but rise at the thought of the woman who’d so improperly introduced herself. But Ameira handled herself with grace and poise like a true lady of the throne. No, perhaps not. I do not think you have quite the right equipment for such a title. May I have your title? My own is Ameira – the actual Queen here as you rightly assumed. A smile graced Ameira’s face once again, as she looked over the group below her. I welcome you all and thank you for replying to my call. Should you wish to join, I do request that you submit formally.

Horizon nodded knowing the proper submission quite well. Having been raised under a strict monarchy of terror he knew the procedure by heart. Had Ameira not been at the head of the rock Horizon would not have felt as comfortable laying on his spine. His body relaxed as he laid to the ground, his soft underside exposed to the sky. He stayed only as long as necessary before he rose to his full stature again. His tall limbs extended him up before his rump fell back to the ground and his tail curled back around his paws. It’s good to have a home Lady Ameira. His mismatched gaze floated over the other wolves watching for their submission and such.

[OOC: Haha actually, I was refering to a change of scenery since I assumed the landscape would have thickened with Evergreen trees as Horizon returned from BF ^.^]
