The conversation flipped to more timely questions like where he lived and the likes. The response and reaction were a surprise for each uniquely. The smile on Akuji’s façade instantly disappeared, a scowl quickly taking its place. Horizon’s face likewise moved to a more confused look, had he said something yet again to piss off another wolf? It was clear the more he spoke the less pleased Akuji was becoming and so eventually he shut his maw, waiting for rebuttal that might end with his throat more or less ripped out. But instead there was the sound of a deep inhale and exhale, Horizon opened his slit lids seeing a strange smile spreading across his brother’s maw. Well, we could also come to visit you. It had been disturbing to see himself as Farant for some years. He’d never been close his sire, due to the bastard title attached to his name. He was never really called his name anyways, most would just casually call him, ‘Farant’s bastard’. Horizon had to wonder whether the nickname was more bothersome to Farant or himself. But the sound of Akuji’s voice brought him back to reality, and it didn’t take long for it to come crashing down on his head. I think you should be betrothed to Shasta. Does that sound good to you? She is an adult, already, I'm not trying to pawn you off on any sketchy relationship with a pup. She is young still, but I've decided you are perfect for her. I understand your desire to protect your daughter, Shasta, and yes I may be the best at protecting because of my knowledge about Farant and the deep hatred I hold for him but I would be able to accomplish nothing towards saving her should she go against every word I say.
