At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

You can't break me

Wait! That single word that slide from the slender birds mouth pierced through Hurricanes frantic, shattered thoughts. Her melodious voice shooting straight through tortured memories, like a carefully aimed arrow. Large dark audits flicker uncertainly, and Hurricane meets her violet and ocean gaze, only to look away once more. Not trusting himself even to be in her presence anymore. The dark gladiator was a monster who tore others to pieces. This delicate falcon could not become another one of his victims. Hurricane's lightning gazers settled on the spot where Losa had once been sprawled out upon the earth, however while he saw, he did not see. And so when the delicate faerie before him grabbed his muzzle the dark knight gasped.

Suddenly without warning, Losa's terra toned physique was almost on top of the oversized dragon, the hessian felt the slight pinch of sharp ivory fangs gripping his scruff and pulling his gaze toward the delicate marionette. Amethyst and cerulean optics pierce into Hurricane's sharp lightning gazers, forcing every ounce of his fracturing mind to focus on the slender princess standing before him. When had she moved? How had she moved? Is she still okay? Her voice, clear and level breaks into his thoughts, easing his agitation. Calm down. That simple command, two words sharp and clear resonating within his audits.

Hurricane's fidgeting stopped almost instantaneously, his attention instead focusing on Losa's slender physique. The gentle slope of her muzzle, her triangular ears, almost too big, but not quite. And her two toned optics, piercing and unique. Those optics had followed him, they had plagued nightmares and spurred dreams, so often terrors. How many nights had this oversized gladiator awoke drenched in sweat, frantic, able only to recall the coppery taste of blood and those eyes he had decided only existed within his minds eye.

Her gentle voice again broke through the silence, every word she spoke seeming to give the slender bird more confidence. Hurricane's ears flicker again at the sound of her voice, A simple question, and his gazers search her own for the answer, as if the answer everything he had ever wanted to know lay within her eyes. However the answers did not come, just an overwhelming urge, a desperate feeling that the colossal knight needed to be near her. That somehow this earthen dyed lass, with nothing more than her presence, could heal his fragmented soul. And perhaps, she could. You don't want to hurt me? Then don't.

With seven words it was suddenly as if chains had been lifted from his tender beating heart. The dark prince had been a monster, that did not require him to remain one for every day that he breathed. Suddenly he found her cool damp nose buried within the soft fur which coated his larynx, and the knight reacted instinctively, lowering his crown to brush it against the top of her chocolatey skull, pulling the petite lass against his chest and closing his eyes slowly. "How do you do this to me?"
