She is quite content with roaming through the fields, after living for nearly two years she knew the place as if it were the back of her own paw, moving silently through this patch. Each step she took was much quieter than the next, her silent steps had taken years of experience, and so she didn’t have to put much effort in it. Her ebony form was a stark contrast to the fields of emerald and by sight alone she was at least traceable. She was quite content to soak up the suns rays with her obsidian coat that was carrying traces of grey along her frame, the clear tell that she was getting a bit older, but she was not weak or incapable of leading. The walking and the warmth of the sun was providing her movements to be much easier for her, pleased to see how nimble she could be, but it wasn’t as good as when she was much younger. It was a shame really that now that she was an elder she was building the family she had always wanted, but even though it was later in her life, it was better than never having it in the first place. Sapphire eyes that held a touch of violet in them noticed a familiar wolf shape figure walking within the same patch of fields. Seeing his ebony and ivory coat she lifted her dial to catch his scent, taking note that it was the child of Tobias and Flare, one of the pups she had allowed to live within their den before Nevermore and Gunsynd were born.
She rather liked their children. Some female wolves may not be capable of tolerating or accepting another male’s children. The relationship she had with Tobias and his mate was quite easy and not difficult at all. The wolf of red and white was submissive, but she had been without Tick Tock needing to exploit her power, it just naturally came. The two females worked well together, accepting each other’s company, and never treating each other with disrespect. Tobias tolerated the two of them and that appeared enough. When the other she-wolf Tobias brought came, Tick Tock was not aware of the past, that this was Tobias’ first mate, and it was a shame that she could not mix in well with their group. Tick Tock and Flare were not normal she-wolves, both bound to Tobias in one way or another, and yet still accepting of each other. Lonhro and Singe were not her children, but she treated them as such. With a gentle sway of her tail after seeing his own wave, a soft bark was uttered in a friendly manner.
As he turns around to face her she stops her movements and simply stands there quietly. Ice cold sapphires looking into his fiery ruby like orbs, taking in the silence between them. It was comfortable, not odd or strange, and she waited patiently for him to speak. She understood that children that were from Tobias were different and carried a variety of different mannerisms. Her own daughter Nevermore was a perfect example, as were Lonhro and Singe. It was Gunsynd that seemed so different from them all, a true replica of herself, and that she was proud of. As soon as Singe began to speak her ears would point towards him, showing that she had his undivided attention, but she attempted to understand him. His words did not flow so well, but he was trying and she would stand there quietly trying to put the pieces together to see if something could make sense. After a few moments of silence her cold lyrics slipped out gently, and slowly to help the boy understand.
“Are you trying to ask me for my name? I did not know your Mother had a name...what is your Mother’s name and who is your Sister?”
