Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

ALiSTAIR
this is what salvation must be like after a while

He meandered through the woods with no destination in mind, he was simply walking and thinking quietly, perhaps waiting for something to happen but not minding if it did or not. Alistair, being unable to hear, relied solely on sight and scent and touch, and all of those sense were picking up something quite pleasing. The sight of the sun trickling through the trees, the scent of pine and fir, the feeling of the weak light on his pelt and the pine needles crunching pleasantly under his pawpads. Even out here, in the lands ungoverned, he could still feel at home. It was comforting to think that Taviora was not so far away, his woods, the towering trees, the faces that he knew. Home was not so distant, both literally and figuratively.

Alistair was content simply walking, until, that was, a wolf ran right into him. He let out a bark of surprise, whirling around just in time to catch her apology. I am so sorry. He understood, and he gave her a sort of half-smile that looked out of place on his usually emotionless face. "It's quite alright." He said, his voice monotone and slightly stilted. By scent he could tell that the woman was not from these lands, a recent arrival, and that intrigued him. Startling white eyes trained on her lips, he caught her next words. I didn't mean to run into you like that, these trees are so beautiful. He followed her gaze up towards the canopy and another smile tugged at his maw.

"They are." He said, his tail giving a few wags. Alistair was learning, day by day, how to convey his emotions better. Usually he would not be so keen on a conversation with a stranger, but contentment had put him in a good enough mood. If she was sharp, she would pick up on the fact that he was deaf, although his ears pressed forwards now instead of flat against his head like they usually did. "My name is... Alistair. Where are you from." He asked, though the intonation of the question was missing. "I'm very curious about the lands outside of Moladion."
