In some packs the Alpha will take the first bite of any kill that is presented to them. However, Tick Tock is not like any other Alpha. She refused to give herself a royal title, believing such a title was quite insulting. She was not of royal blood. She was a survivor and it had nothing to do with her blood, rather it mattered solely on the fact that she was an instinctual creature. She had taken this beautiful land away from the always absent Queen, at first, to provide herself and her companion – Tobias – a sanctuary. Yet over time she had started to develop a strong bond between herself and those that called the fields home, and slowly the enteral loner wolf was becoming more associated with pack life and the understanding behind it. Most of the wolves within the pack were loners before, and everyone typically kept to themselves, but when needed they would all come together. The Monster treated each wolf at an equal level never treating them as if they were inferior to her. Dark eyes observed the she-wolf before her as she began to devour the fawn unperturbed. That cold voice held a firm, but soft tone, as her eyes locked on her own, providing Psyche a glimpse of just who she would be living with.
“Everyone wants to work at something. Adapting to pack life, I will admit, is difficult at first, but it gets easy as time goes on. I am sure you will find something to your liking and the other wolves here will accept you. However, you must know that there are some wolves here that like the taste of wolf flesh, but know that no harm will ever come to you, and if you can tolerate these wolves you are welcomed to stay. This pack accepts everyone no matter how different they are from the other, we are a unique pack, a pack that accepts others.”
Indeed they were a very unique pack. Other packs would never allow cannibals to live within their home, and yet, the Monster accepted all. After all her companion was infamous within Moladion for his cravings. Her dial would tilt slightly as she observed the she-wolf lie down and stretch within the tall grass. Finding it quite amusing just how relaxed and accepting Psyche seemed to be with her surroundings. Though the Monster’s face remained unreadable, those long scars that ruined her face made it impossible to see what emotion she was feeling, it was a mask she used to her advantage. Half-torn ear twitches as she hears the claim that Psyche would like it here, and her black lips would pull back slightly in a small smile, lowering her head towards Psyche’s own, before whispering gently.
“There is no need to bow, Psyche, and I’m glad you like will like it here. Tobias is my imprint, he is the large black wolf with green eyes that is very...unique in a terrifying way, you will know who he is at first glance. Respect the fact that he too is Alpha and you will be fine. Now then why don’t you go and find yourself a den and meet some of the wolves you will call family, there are matters I need to attend to now. Welcome to Asteraia Psyche, welcome home.”
The small smile would suddenly fade and she would take her head away from Psyche’s and she would turn around to leave. Psyche was free to roam around and do as she pleased, the Monster moving south, heading towards the middle of the lands where her own den was located, eager to see her children for their daily training.
