The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

True Friends Stab You In The Front!

The young banded witch watched the warrioress' response to her question - a tilt of the head. Then she spoke. "Kill? No, not likely. I'm not a pup killer. For one, I consider pups as innocents. For another, it would be too easy of a kill. For one I could probably sit on you and squish you and suffocate you to death. But yes, I probably would have tried to convince you to leave here." And a shake of the head. But then she spoke more. "If here is where you would like to call home, then call it such. I will not stop you from entering, and will give you permission to do you. However, my next question to you will be where you would like to live. I can show you to the dens, or else you can live with me and my mate as my daughter. My protege."

The banded witch raised her brow as her emeralds looked over the tall warrioress. "I don't know if you're capable. It's quite an offer from someone I have just met and I'm quite sure I'm grown enough to take care of myself." She watched the smirk crawl over Halinas face, one falling upon her own face as well. This girl knew the darkness and knew it well. She flashed her emeralds back from the swords of the warrioress to her sapphires. "But I see no reason not to stay around for a little." The witch smiled up at her, tilting her head. "So what would I call you? Halina? Miss? Mother?" She stepped over the line that they had created, stepping into the packs land. She stood right in front of Halina this time. "Where are we going first? She asked, so many questions yet she was so curious to know this place and its secrets.

"I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you, 'cause I'll forget but I'll never forgive you!"
