While Zeus spoke Inanna listened closely to what he had to say. Gaze looking from him, to the storm, to the mountains in the distance she let her mind wander. What would she have done at the top of a mountain, with the lighting dancing around her? This was a world completely foreign to her. She had spent her life on the ground, or in it, within the den or among the herbs. The sands of the beach had been all she could play on. What would it have been like to be one with the sky. Duo colored eyes looked back at Zeus. Would he be able to take her to the sky? Even if he could not, would she ever be able to make it on her own?
Turning away from him, she looked once again to the storm raging down. She was so captivated by the sight she did not notice, or mind, that he had settled his head on her. From saving her and opening her eyes to a new experience she trusted this big wolf. He had done nothing to harm her, taken care of her, shown her shelter and magic. Why should she had feared him placing his very (very) large head on her small body. No matter his ulterior motives. She breathed easily, starting to enjoy what had started out as a terrifying day.
“I was, a little.” She said softly, her voice distant with the distraction of the storm. Her body wiggled slightly, snuggling a little further into him to take complete advantage of his warmth. Unable to truly look up at him she shifted. “Can you take me to the top of a mountain?” Obviously she had come to consider this wolf as her personal protector and adventure companion. He opened the door to the world for her, now she wanted to run through it with him.
