News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

I'll raise you like a pheonix (Open/Peregrine)
IP: 104.34.33.123

Strike a match and i'll burn you to the ground.

Silver painted limps carried the tiny pup far away from the ocean pack that had kept her prisoner until now. The fire inside of her burned hotter than it had ever before, blazing through her emerald lightning struck eyes. She had had enough, enough of being ignored, enough of having to grow on her own but still treated like a pup and told what to do. Striker did not care about any of her pups, it had been proven when Fawkes's own sister had gone missing and she did nothing about it, no one did! The young pheonix had been the only one to look and even then she was just a pup and could only look so far. She had found a strange scent along with the scent of her sister but a pup could not track it alone. She had tried and tried to get her mother to do something but it was clear that Striker was never cut out to be a single mother, let alone a mother at all. While a burning anger and hatred had festered for the her dam, it was even stronger for her bastard of a sire who had gotten Striker pregnant and then left without a single trace.

So Fawkes was striking out on her own. She didn't care if it was dangerous, that she wouldn't be able to feed herself properly. She had walked and walked out of Glorall and into the free lands until she was sufficiently lost. Deep down, part of her hoped that her mother would come running and find her, bring her back home, show she cared, but she knew that was a pathetic dream. She would rather die alone than live in a place where nobody cared about her. Despite this, she was not scared in the slightest. The girl had a firey spirit that blazed with bravery, perhaps foolish but brace all the same. She strutted along with confidence, confidence born of a year full of learning how to do things all on her own.

Even now Fawkes looked more like a fox than an actual wolf pup. Her muzzle was small and narrow, inherited from a grandmother she would never get the pleasure of meeting or even knowing about. She even carried the coloration of a fox, a burning mahogany red color that covered the top half of her coat. She really looked like a wolf who had been touched by fire and ash, her legs painted in a grey. One day she would be tall, with legs built for speed and agility. For now she was little and vulnerable, her body still full of nothing but puppy fat.

Nothing was going to stop her as she moved, not entirely sure of just where she was headed but not caring. She had passed by a river, rocks, and even caves. The traveling had been tiring on her small body but it hardly showed. She hadn't eaten in a few days and was starting to get really hungry, she would need to figure something out or starve to death, she hoped that continuing to move forward would bring her to something or someone. Emerald eyes had seen a mountain in the direction that she was heading, there was something alluring about it that kept her headed in that direction. Eventually she would get there and today seemed to be that day.

She waddled up right to the base of the mountain, having spent all morning traveling across the free lands. If anyone scented where she came from, they would be quite impressed with how far she had managed to get. Her nose immediately scented pack border, something she knew of because she had grown up in the ocean pack and been held captive by it's borders for so very long. This did not stop her however, she strutted right on past, unafraid of the wolves that were surely within and had the capabilities to kill her if they wanted. She waddled along and up, until something stopped her.

A scent. One that pulled hard at her memories and caused her heart beat to start picking up, eyes flashing around. She spun around, looking desperately for the source but the scent was faint. She began to move again, her pace picked up until she was practically running, frantic and desperate. She knew this scent, she had almost forgotten it it had been so long, but now that she scented it again it sparked her memories, pushed away to one day vanish. Peregrine. The sister that had been stolen from her was here. How was that even possible!?! Had these mountain wolves been the ones to steal her what seemed like an eternity ago? Her mind was full of some many questions as she finally slowed herself to scent the air again, to make sure she wasn't mistaken; after all, she had been so young when it had happened, she wasn't even sure if she remembered what her sister looked like anymore. But she was here, and Emerald eyes were looking, looking for her and for answers, the fire in her fueled by a resurfacing anger, long ago subdued.
