It was a seriousness that encaptured Taika, an expression and demeanor that rarely covered the woman. The thought of play had been driven from her mind, filling with concern for her dear friend and soul sister. She had hoped their odd connection would have told her if the Dream Speaker were in trouble, but it was with growing anxiety that she realized it was only Imprinted pairs who could feel such a thing. Not simply kindred. It was her desire to make sure her friend, gypsy or no, was safe. Once bound to Taika as family or friend, always bound to her. It was a joy to feel the companionship of Morrigan beside her. When they had met there had still been a fast-acting connection that Taika would never have traded for the world. Roman had come to the gypsies and Morrigan had been drawn to the charismatic leader. The other woman had clearly found a home and a place in the pack that Roman had formed. Just as the new Alpha had risen and created his home, Taika’s friend had found her’s. With that home came a purpose.
Taika smiled over at her as they travelled.
Where Morrigan entered the packland cautiously, Taika walked right on in. She had been invited once, and she had friends here. Some of the wolves here knew her and she would never mean them harm. Morrigan lifted her call, and Taika harmonized in her hope of finding her friend. When their songs died down and Paisley approached, the gypsy listened to what she had to say, her smile falling from her lips. By the sea? Her eyes widened with sudden explainable excitement. The SAND! Her body became electrified and she raced around the pair of them. She would be able to find her sister AND play in the sand!
