Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her body against his warmed and comforted his tattered soul keeping the fragments that much more together, "well I did see a herd of caribou on the way home the other day," he said with a smile though they couldn’t take on a fully grown and healthy one on their own maybe there would be an old or injured female that they could unburden the herd of, he hadn’t had caribou in a while and though prey meat held no desire in him he always acted as if it did. He had no intentions of letting anyone know about his disease, he had always been careful to track his prey first and find out if they were in a pack or not, he didn’t need that kind of attention brought upon his pack or his family. After all Eden had been good to them so far.

"Maybe luck will be on our side and I'm sure even an old one will feed a good portion of them" he said as he moved a few feet, this would be daring even an old one could still put up a fight "what do you say?" he asks with a wag of his tail dark eyes gleam with the anticipation of the battle to come.
