Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It is hard to comprehend this. How could it happen when the god had been so careful. He even had a wolf in there to be his eyes and he knew they were coming for him. It doesn’t make any sense. But I have to face the reality, Zeus had been captured and taken to the pack of angels. Which is horrible. Now he won’t be able to help me with the tasks. Well, not that he really ever saw them, he made it very clear that only I should. He said I am very important, but never explained.

I shake these thoughts out of my head and try to think. The next step had been explained to me in detail, but it is hard to follow. There were more than a few ways I could do it and he said it would be my choice. Angels are so cruel, they take everything and now they took him too! That can’t happen. No! I need him, we do. My ears twitch and I hear steps. Someone is coming closer and when I notice it, the wolf is already pretty close. My form turns and I look back at him, watching just as he fell on the ground.

My first instinct tells me to kill him right away. But he speaks. Zeus? I take a step forward and let my nose do the work. The scent of blood is too thick on him, but I think I can smell a little bit of Zeus on him. Head turns from side to side, trying to see if anyone would have followed this wolf here. It would be bad.

- Angels! They took Zeus.

I told him with a soft whine, watching the wolf force himself up, wounded. He had been into the same fight as Zeus? This was the warrior? He told me of a wolf warrior who would help him, but he never introduced us. I thought that he was only a temporary warrior who would just help a little bit. He asked me about the bag and I nodded, lowering my head to take it before approaching the stranger and placing the bag before him. My nose touched the leaf and it would open.

- Take the seeds. Just… Not so many.

I answered, letting him take them and listening as he promised to rip some angel’s face off. My ears lowered with the way he acted. He didn’t seem to know much of the plan. Not by the way he talks. Well, perhaps it is just anger talking.

- We can’t harm them. The angels. Not without a reason. It would ruin everything.

I told him, gentle. Despite my form telling that I’m meant for war and fight. I’m not really such a fighter. I’m more of a scout than anything. Still, in my pack I’ve been a warrior before.

- Attu. That is good. This is his place so, it wouldn’t be good to be followed here.

I told him. Zeus lived here. Very close to Diveen and always watching upon them. It was hard to see him in other places. The woods were the safest of places for him. Who would look for him in such a place, so dangerously close to Diveen.

- I’m not sure he will stay here after this. He will move, I’m sure. When he is out. Then all will fall in place. They will learn not to mess with a god.

I said, looking at the wolf and hoping he had knowledge on basic healing. I gave him the supplies. I hope he does know. It would be a little weird for me to heal him. I could, but it would feel a little awkward. I looked around us, keeping my eyes open for other wolves.
