Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

No other creature in this land has managed to capture her interest like this male. Most has been soft and she had been nurtured and cared for in her youth. Although she kept mostly to her siblings and birth pack she never had been drawn in to a gamble she was willing to play her hand in. She wasn’t sure why he was so different, still it incited her to get involved. She was sore and ached and yet didn’t doubt he could do much worse if he wanted. She was rather green when it came to fighting outside of basics but she enjoyed it; if you could really call this encounter with this male a fight.

At the males roar her excitement only grows. It was unlike any other prey she had encountered in her life. This male was not prey, and she knew this he wouldn’t allow that. Still, it was the idea of taking the life of her kind; it was inciting to her yet she couldn’t ponder this for long. The creature seamed all to eager to pull her away from him. He managed to speak through snapping jaws before grasping her ear. She slipped up and let a short whine of discomfort and almost clear displeasure escape as he pulled her jaws away from his chest. “Enya.” She spoke with a soft growl every time she tried to tug her ear away from his jaws. She didn’t have to ask again she believed he would keep is word to her better judgement or not.

In a last attempt to free her ear she snapped towards his neck and cheek. Enya wasn’t keen on having a tattered ear or staying in this position for much longer. She glowered slightly but took the chance to absorb this features a little better while stilled. Cached blood matted his fur which frustrated her normally clean nature. Enya could hardly disclose anything else about him other than size and she doubted he showed much of his power otherwise she would likely be a stiff corpse. Enya found pleasure in leaning and couldn't quench the desire to learn more about him.

She had no need to question what the creature had been up to, but the male was with out a doubt intriguing. At the moment she held no position to ask him questions. He had seemed to have decided to keep her alive, although she was intrigued why he changed his mind. It didn’t matter at this moment, he had won this dance, this once anyways. Her teeth still ached for more and yet she needed for the minds turn now. She shifted slightly in posture relaxing her fur not anticipating being forced to the ground, but showed she embraced a respect for this creature.
