I confess to having a certain distain for technology these days. My attitude is that it prevents people from personal contact in favor of texting, etc.

Yesterday, however, Vandy had the baby shower for Lyndsay's baby in Wichita and technology allowed me to attend via FaceTime.
Amazingly, I attended in my pajamas, interacted with those who attended, smoked cigarettes without offending anyone, and had a great time without having to drive for hours.
What an amazing experience and maybe Vandy will post photos.
