Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He continued to eat, tearing at the rabbit slowly, as if he were disinterested in the poor creature now that it was dead. Simply going through the motions. Victor wanted something... bigger. Something that would cry and scream as he broke its leg or chewed off its tail. His thoughts turned to those of wolves, and, almost disgusted with himself, he quickly pushed them away. His tendencies were uncontrollable and he needed a release in some form or another, and prey would have to do for now. Others might give him a strange look for playing with his food, but if he maimed and killed and consumed a wolf they might have something more to say. He was afraid of himself at times, and he kept remembering the look in his father's eyes when he had pulled the wings off of a living bird.

But it appeared that he wouldn't be left alone with his thoughts for much longer. Ears pricked forward and head raised at the loud approach of another, clearly not trying to be stealthy of sneak up on him. His tongue swiped across his lips as the female emerged from the woods, wiping off some of the blood from his maw. He was a messy eater, blood staining his chest and muzzle, however, it didn't appear that the girl cared or even noticed.

He studied her for a moment, echoing her grin and giving a few slow wags of his tail at her comment. "Oh, are we now?" He mused, nudging the half-eaten rabbit towards her. "If you're hungry, I can share, but if you'd rather be looking at me..." Victor gave her a smug smirk. She looked to be a bit younger than him but she certainly wasn't a newborn- and who was he to judge on age? He would have been around hers when he had sought out Eden and Glorall. "Name's Victor." Introductions were always in order, weren't they? Especially to one that showed an interest.
