Artemis' orbs began to wetten though the fae began to blink furiously, distributing the droplets over the surface of her eyes instead of allowing them to cascade down her face. Ameira's mirror image smiled, and the Queen mimicked her, her own kissers curling upward. The faes - so similar that they could be twins, began to walk in silence toward home, and it was only when the pair crossed the border that Artemis broke the silence. 'So, is this Mink friendly? I'd be quite interested in meeting those of this place.' Ameira laughed and nodded her head, her lavendar scanning the ground for any patches of soil that may be dangerous because of the thick, slippery mud that they were treading upon. "Aye, she's a sweet bonny fae. She is blind - I am not sure if I mentioned that earlier - but she does not let that hinder her at all. As soon she found her way around the pack, she got around without any difficulties. I've yet to use her for her skills, so I guess we will see how she is as a healer." Neither of them had wounds that were fatal - but they needed them to be cleaned at the very least. Ameira tilted back her head and howled - calling for Mink, before tilting her head back down to face Artemis once more.

"Hold still - I will start to clean your wounds and afterward, you can clean mine. That way, even if Mink is out of the pack and does not hear my call, at least our wounds will be clean and will not get infected." The snowy lassie moved to face Artemis, her tongue once more tasting her blood but this time in order to help her, not to hurt her. She first cleaned her hind limb, her rough tongue running gently over her wounds on both the inside and outside of the limb. Once she was content that the mud and grit had been removed, she changed her focus, moving to her nape, the tip of her tongue swiveling around each puncture wound, debriding the edges. Finally, most of the blood and debris was gone - at least from around the wounds - though the rest of her pelt was still covered in blood and mud. Only a thorough bath would fully clean either of them.

Ameira turned and waited for Artemis to clean her in turn. As she did so, the Queen continued to talk. "Once you have settled in, I will show you where the stream is - it is cold, but it is deep and has a good current and should make quick work of cleaning our pelts. Aside from Mink, there is also Horizon - currently my only ranked member, and Frio. You shall meet them in time. If only you thought to challenge me sooner you could have made it to my pack meeting!" The lassie giggled and shook her head - how odd their relationship would be, changing from enemies to family.
