At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

She paused, her shades blinking furiously as she tried to comprehend what she meant. It was not that she was a virgin – no, Kenshin had robbed her of that title, taking her innocence. But she was a prude – she had only that single experience in her life, that one single night with Kenshin to comprise the entirety of her sexual knowledge. It had taken place at night in her den, with him being gentle with her and leading her in all of the actions and motions. It was true, that he had not known that she was a virgin at the time, but that hardly mattered at the time. Mating at least partially instinctual, and Kahlan had always been a quick learned. But the idea that Kirastasia was putting in her mind? It was something completely different. She was proposing that here – out in the open, in the brightest of days – they take one another. Unspeakable actions would happen for any to see as their tongues delved deep inside one another and quivered and moaned, calling out each other’s names. It was disgusting to think about doing so private out in the open… and it turned the fae on. It was so against everything that she would ever do in her previous life – reckless, irresponsible… and perhaps that was why it called to her so. Without waiting for an answer, the brindled femme nuzzled against her, her nares settling in between Kahlan’s pair of pinnae before pulling her closer. Slowly, Kirastasia’s mandible ran down her nape. The fae could feel her inhale sharply, Kahlan’s hairs flitting into Kirastasia’s nares. Kahlan closed her lids, enjoying the subtle, gentle caresses, but whimpered sharply as she felt those same hairs being tugged on. It was not that it hurt – but it surprised her. The fae jumped back to focus her suns on Kira, trying to figure out what she had meant by the nip. Kenshin had been utterly gentle with her, the only pain that she felt being when he entered her, tearing her flesh and stealing her innocence. Kirastasia responded immediately, closing the distance between them. Her tongue immediately covered Kahlan’s face with kisses, caressing her brow, her cheeks, her kissers themselves. Kahlan felt warmth rise up within her abdomen, her loins. They were cravings for something more, something deeper. Something more intimate. Before she could think logically about it, she found teeth were once more pulling at her flesh, confusing her, aggravating her. This was the complete opposite of what she had known with Kenshin, and she found herself utterly at a loss. Kirastasia began to nip her maw and then licked, and eventually the mixture of pleasure and pain became too much and Kahlan lost her ability to know where one began and the other ended. She closed her lids once more before her head lolled to one side, giving in to Kirastasia at long last. “Why wait Kira? Show me, Kirastasia, show me what I have been missing out on all of this time. Steal from me my loneliness.” |
