Greetings Race Directors!
The 2016 sanctioning criteria has been finalized and the new 2016 PEI Roadrunner Sanctioning Criteria & Race Guide is now out as well as the new Race Application Forms.
The new document contains:
Page 2 - Sanctioning Fees and Equipment Rental Fees & Bib Costs for Unsanctioned events.

Briefly..
A sanctioning fee of $50. per event (regardless of how many distances your event has) will be applied to all PEI RoadRunner sanctioned events. You will be invoiced when your event is put on the schedule with the fee due one week after your event. If you do not have your own event insurance, your Race Director MUST be a PEI Roadrunner’s Club member.
Once sanctioned:
•Your event will be covered by the PEI Roadrunner’s Club Liability Insurance (if you don't have your own)
•Bibs & pins will be supplied
•You may borrow, if available, the PEI RoadRunners equipment (race clock, “Race in Progress” signs, mileage markers & water jugs)
•You will be added to the PEI RoadRunners schedule
•You will be promoted on the PEI RoadRunners website and mailing list
•Your results will be published on the PEI RoadRunners website.
Unsanctioned events will be posted on our schedule for the information of our Membership. If our equipment is available, it can be rented for $50.00. Please contact the PEI RoadRunners at least a month in advance if you wish to reserve equipment.
Race bibs, with pins, can be purchased from the PEI RoadRunners for $0.40 each.
The Race Guide, for new race directors, outlines tasks, timelines and things that need to be done to host a successful running event. For veteran race directors it can be used as a checklist resource to ensure your event meets the standards set up in the PEI Roadrunners Sanctioning criteria.
