News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

The Kingblade
male | 6 years | 40 inches | 165 pounds | no one’s heart | no one’s soul | alpha of spirane

He was a man of the people, a leader of the people. He was only as strong as his people allowed him to be. He was only as successful as his people allowed him to be. There was nothing he could do with Spirane without them to build on what strengths he possessed. He was strong on his own four paws, his successful defeat of the former Alpha proclaimed that for him, but as a leader there was more than simple prowess in one-on-one combat.

There was so much that needed doing, happy though he was for the chance to heal entirely from the fight between he and Daenerys. Much that needed to be accomplished among those who stayed or came after the new regime arrived.

First, it seemed, it would be to take accounting for his second-in-command to a stranger who seemed no small bit displeased with her mode of arrival. It was to be expected, for sure, but this also only amplified his belief that he had been right to take Spirane. With more eyes, one was better protected. He looked her over, this new person, and listen to Morrigan’s defense with a good natured grin on his face all of a sudden. “I was only giving her some encouragement. It's what I do best, after all.” He chuckled encouragement to his second, nodding, before looking back to the new wolf and explained Morrigan to her.

The regard that Roza seems to offer him makes him smile just a little broader, though there was still the glint of gold in his mind where affectionate thoughts were concerned. Gold, and quietly a little of old blood and snow. The new wolf’s tail lowers, though she does not grovel and make him embarrassed further. He mentions, then, her coloring. It had always seemed prudent to voice ones admirations rather than keep them silent. Demure men were not in fashion, he believed.

“No but I was told my mother was of similar color. She came from the deep south but I am not told where. She died upon my birth so my heritage is, sadly, lost. I am pleased that here will be no different. Your color is similar, I like it. Decorus.” She replied, seeming to think his compliment a good one enough to reciprocate. “Decorus? What does that mean?” Morrigan asks, and in his attempt to be rather a bit smarter seeming, he tried to draw deductions out of his brain. “Similar to decorate, yes? I think she thinks that I would make a nice rug or that my color is nice too, perhaps.” He grins, at both, trying to liven them with good humor.

“You are a new King, yes?” the female asks, sitting with a cautious eye on Morrigan, and he is not long in the answering. “I am, yes. My name is Roman.” He offers, just as a new question about the term cannibals is brought up. “They eat other wolves. Hunt them, like prey. They lurk out in the wild, trying to lure wolves to their untimely demise... none here, though.” He chuffs a little laugh, “Just so, miss. No cannibals here, so you needn’t be so cautious of my dear Morrigan. She is the finest sort of friend a man could ask for - loyal to a fault. You might even like her, if you’d forgive our rather abrupt invitation to come here!”.
