Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

The male seamed narrow minded keeping his sights on the water. She surly could have taken him by surprise in these moments. Allowing her self the freedom to feel his flesh between her teeth and the boys blood to linger on her tongue, but would it lack a certain pleasure? She’d never partaken of her kind but to hear his cries and to have a chase it seemed all to exhilarating to pass up and yet she remains stilled; observing, thinking.

She watches the way an ear turns followed by the rest of his face. His eyes captured her attention first they had been unlike the eyes of most she’s come face to face with. The boy was young but how young she wasn’t exactly sure yet. He sniffs at her and yet she doesn't tilt her head she remains steady in her posture as his body moves in-front of her own. He glances back down into the water before seeming to dismiss what he was looking for. Perhaps it would have been more interesting to watch him try and fail or who knows maybe even succeed.

The silence continues as the two stare at one another for a few moments only to be broken by the boy. Enya remands silent thinking over his words, ’Content to watch’ what did he wish for her to do; had he not been doing the same thing? She shifted slightly moving to stand before the boy waiting to answer his question. She had no issue taking any space she desired and so she moved pushing past him and just close enough for the water grace the tips of the fur on her paws.

Enya watches him carefully out of the corner of her eye; any quick movement would result in teeth coming after the boys face. She wouldn’t offer him any warning other than her tail flicking at the end sharply before coming back to its relaxed place of rest. She gazed slightly at the fish moving about before coming back to the boys comment. “Would you rather me preform an act of sorts? You seemed content with observing the river and its contents; so tell me why is you question me?” Enya felt little need to observe the boy in these moments relying on her senses for her defense although he was an unlikely threat she waited in silence for his response.
