Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Morrigan
i'm so tired, i can't sleep
i'm a liar, and a thief

Morrigan stretched out alongside the river, her russet coat readily apparent though she made no move to hide it. Although she was relaxing she was ever alert, her ears were standing at attention; although she was in a resting state she would be able to jump up at a moments notice. It was in her blood to be poised for anything, as one never knew when trouble could strike. And trouble seemed to follow the assassin wherever she went, though Moladion had been different. Luckily, she'd been able to avoid any kind of confrontation thus far, but with her new rank it was bound to happen eventually. In a way it was a bit tantalizing, to be able to show off her skills once more- it was still the biggest part of her, that assassin side.

And so when the girl approached the woman heard her long before she spoke her words. Morrigan turned her head to see the rabbit fall to the ground. She took a moment to analyze the stranger before responding- her coat was dirty and unkempt, and while she was no stickler to beauty, she at least kept her coat, for the most part, in order. The woman wondered whether this girl had family or someone to tell her that she looked, well, dirty. With a tilt of her head, she finally replied with a simple "'Course not" and angled her head to the bank beside her.

She began to pick and pull at her rabbit while the girl settled herself, and once she had taken up her spot Morrigan spoke once more. "You look a little worse for wear, kid." She smirked slightly, though her tone was amused and teasing there was also a hint of concern. She didn't have the soft spoke for kids that Roman had, but she cared for her fellow wolf all the same. "Everything okay?"
