The unusually wet winter caused more than its fair share of flooding during the miserable season—and that flooding caused a significant amount of erosion in the Misty Mountain foothills where Romance River gushes forth. A mysterious mineral that’s been thus far safely packed beneath layers of stone has entered the water . . . and it’s doing some strange things to the wolves who drink it. What’s that weird hot tingling sensation under your fur? Why is it suddenly so hard to speak? How is it that you’re looking at other lupines as if you’ve never seen them before? Maybe it’s a familiar feeling, maybe it’s something you’ve never felt before—but there is no denying the bizarre bundle of energy turning you inside out!
