As Psyche lowered her dial as Tick Tock came forward the Monster Queen gave the girl a firm nod in acknowledgment. Even if she was not such an observant creature there was no denying the fact that the wolves before her seemed at such an entrance of one another, noticing how clearly they embraced one another. It was not difficult to see that each of their furs were melted into the others’, the Monster slightly curious, after all when she first approached Psyche there was hardly another wolf scent on her. She was sure that Psyche was a loner, hardly approached by others, which was one of the reasons why she wanted to bring the small she-wolf to the low grassy fields. So, why is it that in one of Psyche’s outings would she be so touchy with a complete stranger. It wasn’t something that Tick Tock frowned upon, rather she was quite curious, wondering just why the two were so very close. Her mauled face made it quite impossible to know what she was thinking, emotional small tells unable to achieve such a thing, and so she remained quite stoic as she listened to the two speak. When both were finished her cold lyrics slipped gently once again, sapphire eyes locked upon Samhain now, studying him closely.
“In this pack we tolerate the differences to one another. Some wolves like the taste of their own species, but they will not eat those that live here, and there are some wolves that cannot even phantom the idea of eating their own species. Yet we live here in harmony. Is this something you can accept and live with? Why do you want to be here, what strengths can you lend to help benefit the pack?”
Both ears were pointed towards him now. He smelled of the forest and yet he claimed that he was not a member there, but that it was home to another. Who exactly was the ‘other’ and would this other provide an issue about his loyalty to her pack and she, herself? As always she asked each potential member if they could live amongst wolves that were not like them at all. The pack within the fields was capable of putting past any personal beliefs or stigmas against different ideas. Wolves outside of Asteraia could claim to achieve such harmony way of life, but in Tick Tock’s mind it was all a front – a lie. If the other packs could truly live amongst others that were different from themselves then perhaps they would be capable of accepting a wolf like herself or Tobias. It was rather important that all new members were aware with just what they were getting into.
