Sachael had been following Herchel for almost a full moon now. Lucifer had left his homelands several moons ago, and his small group had grown restless. Finally a small group of his warriors had embarked after the brindled king, and when those did not return as well? The twins had decided it was time to see what exactly had happened to Lucifer, and their small band of friends. Sachael was by no means a tracker, but the slender ying and yang valkyrie had more patience for the sport of sniffing out others than her larger counterpart.

Sachael glanced behind her, optics of fire met those of her brother briefly, exchanging a quick look, perhaps that of a lover ensuring their mate was doing well and keeping up. And after that quick glance, Sachael turned back and lowered her coal sniffer toward the ground and kept moving forward. The sun had risen only an hour before the pair had risen from the small den they had dug within the security of the borders of blossom, and onward they set. Herchel had not said a word, perhaps since the duo had departed from their homelands, However Sachael heard him snuffle behind her, and swiveled her midnight and sunlight painted cranium in the direction of her brother.

The large gladiator had his nose buried halfway within a rabbits hole, reaching for the small creature which had delved into the darkness its tiny burrow had provided. Herchel, however, was not about to just let his breakfast go, simply because it had retreated within its home. No, instead the crème toned hessian backed up slightly and began to dig, black and white paws scratching viciously at the surface of the ground, sending shrapnel of earth in a spray behind him, peppering Sachael, whom had moved downwind of the rabbit, and was watching her brother from behind. Little bits of terrain pepper her moonlight coat, and the sylph snorts softly, rearing her head back in indignation and backing away from her counterpart.

Finally, Herchel barked loudly and seized the plump rabbit, wretching the small creature from within it's den, the rabbit, making the only noise a creature who knows its life is about to be snatched from it, shrieks in terror and writhes within his creamy jaws, the oversized dragon snarling and shaking his cranium like a rabid beast, before clamping down upon tender flesh, and stealing the small creature's last breath.

Sachael watches silently from behind her brother, watching as the crimson liquid stains his jowls, dripping down the vicious gladiator's neck, and his gaze turns suddenly, tossing what's left of the small carcass, sending it flying through the air. Sachael rears up upon her rear starlight appendages, her jaw clamping tightly upon the creature, blood spattering her face, crimson flecks reaching all the way to her shoulders and chest, as the femme fatale lands hard upon her front paws, tearing flesh away from bone, her satin muzzle stained crimson.

Finally, Sachael looks up at Herchel, fire opal optics meeting in agreement, and the smaller female steps forward, cleaning a spot of blood from her brothers muzzle before moving forward again, tracking the ever fading scents of their cult.

Ying and Yang painted twins move silently throughout the underbrush of Blossom. Spring had come forth in full swing, and the late morning sun warmed the air around the duo, almost past a comfortable temperature. Twin hairs meld together as the pair walk, Sachael just slightly in the lead, Herchel, never one to be left behind, his cranium hovering just above her right hip, walking almost atop of his sister. Finally, even Herchel could not deny the scent of Lucifer surrounding them, a carefully guarded border sat, separating this part of the forest from what lay within. Sachael thought nothing of moving forward, however she felt a sharp nip at her ankle and turned to find her matching counterpart sitting respectfully upon Lucifer's border. Backing up, the midnight and moonlight ess sat alongside her brother, who throws his large cranium back, his howl loud and commanding, however submissive. Sachael, never one to be left out, joins her brother in his summons for Lucifer, and then, four fire opal optics stare into the darkness of the forest, waiting.
