Fall had come to the land, in the forests Taika was doing one of her favorite pass times. The leaves under her paws crunched with every movement she made. Absolute glee was written on her face as she jumped and dived at anything and nothing that was around her. Panting happily, she followed flickers of light against dust, following the fairies that had guided her through her life. On her shoulders rode her invisible friends, their silent laughter mingling with her’s as they enjoyed the ride she took them on.
Through the pains and twists of her life in Moladion, the young woman was still always able to find the joy that could be had on a crisp fall day either alone or with others. She loved her friends and loved when they would find her and play, or talk, or just be. It still took a lot to ignore the cringe in her heart at the thought of the friends she had lost.
She was chasing a particularly flighty fairy when a call broke through her fairy-tale. Soft head shot into the air and her body froze. She knew that voice anywhere. Her eyes lit up and her smile shined brighter than the sun. Her name was on the wind and she was running faster than it could blow. Paws raced over paths, through the brushes, taking the shortest possible route to her friend who called. No questions asked, all worries to the wind, she barked happily to give her only warning before bowling over and into Neverland in a rolling tussle before jumping to her feet again. In mid air her body morphed and she landed in her natural play-bow. Tongue hanging out and eyes shining happily, she wordlessly welcomed her friend back. Their strife long behind them, at least in the mind of Taika.
