Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eden was right, in order to protect his family and the home that had become so dear to him he had to take on a new name. Lets face facts here taking new names wasn’t new for the dark male, known as Mis to the gang and Dieloch to the rest of his family and friends, but he did not want to use Mis again… That name brought about to many bad memories for him, such a dark time in his life it had been but he did not want to just randomly pick a name from a hat either. After telling Eden he would need time to think up something new he had departed the alpha and strolled along the beech, he needed to clear his head and figure out what he would let his fellows know him as, he wanted to keep his godhood a secret for now but he didn’t want a pansy name either. Darkness was a part of him just as the blood and flesh that contrived his mortal form, as he found himself standing upon the threshold of his den with Hecate and their children it came to him and he looked within the gloom smelling Hecate heavy on the air, "my dearest Hecate I do you have a moment..."

He awaited her reply by seating his large form upon the ground and breathing deeply to bring his mind to peace, to gather the words so he could properly bring them to the surface, as she brought herself to the surface he smiled warmly upon her. She was as beautiful as when he had first laid his matte black eyes upo her and mad her his golden goddess, they shared a bond greater than anyone else even more so than he and Illy now that they had gone through the whole blood letting process, even if it had been an accident. "My lovely goddess, I hope the sun shines on you today" he says reaching out to caress her features gently breathing in her musky herbal scent before releasing it in a content sigh. "I feel I must explain a few things to you first and foremost being that I do what I do for you and our children, for your safty and in hopes to better ourselves in this mortal world, I have a dear friend to whome I have aided in battle against the Angels of Diveen," his voice is hushed to a mere whisper so unfriendly ears might not hear. "His name is of no importance to you at this time but you will learn it if he desires it, but like us he is of a higher order than even these so called Angels claim to be."

There is a tinge of distain in his voice at the very mention of their race, he believes them to be the cause of all his pain and suffering, for the death of his father and the disapearence of Inanna (his tormented brain believes not that she simply wandered off and got lost) his eyes soften as he gazes upon Hecates lovely face. "Eden worries that my aide to my friend might bring the Angels upon Glorall and my family, it is always a possibility but I take every precaution when leaving on such missions so I highly doubt they will figure it out." He nods as if to affirm this to himself more than her, "it has been decided that I should take a new name within Glorall and the rest of the lands so that none shall know of my deeds, hence forth I am to be known as Aides."

He feels as if this should have been his name all along, a name befitting the life draining monster he was and perhaps he shall keep it as thus, even in this short time frame it has grown on him. "I believe Eden to accept my mission in secrecy, so not a word to anyone even our children till the right time has come. I tell you this because my friend has been taken captive by the Angels and upon his escape, for I know he will return to freedom he might need healing and I trust only in your paw to recieve him as if he were me and make him as good as new." He knows not the extent of his fellow gods injuries but a three on one fight does not allow said wolf would make it out unscathed, "we may be gods but here our mortal bodies bleed just as theirs does, I am all to aware of this fact" his shoulder no longer gives him discomfort and the fur has grown back but the memories of past injuries are always with him.
