Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

See the lightning in your eyes,

Not even Arcturus could deny the strange feelings that seemed to plague him as his mind was given to wander from Spirane and Diveen. Despite how deadpanned his expressions always remained, there boiled a mixture of emotions inside of him that not even he could fully deny. He could not deny that he loved his mother, was saddened by her decent to weakness and subsequent death. Part of him desired it had been him to have steal the life from her, to give her the peace she deserved, as the only of her children to linger long after given the necessary skills to survive, craving more knowledge from her. Instead Bellatrix had been the one to hold Stella's lifeless form from her jaws, subsequently meeting her own demise not long after. The skeleton demon had not hidden his surprise as his bloodline was slowly picked off one by one; how many remained he was not entirely sure, perhaps he would take it upon himself to search out any remaining, check on their well being. But none of this compared to the whirlwind of emotions that stirred within him over Ankh, the vain girl who had been chained to his soul. It irritated him endlessly, her behavior stoking his anger and hatred but still he could not overcome the bond and kill her. He was not even sure their joined souls would allow him to sit idly by as she succumbed to her own weakness. It stirred a storm of wrath within but, that lay so perfectly hidden.

The furian boy would be foolish to know that Eden did not keep watch over him, and if would be foolish on the alpha's part if he did not. Despite his pledge of allegiance to Glorall, he was still very much so dangerous, be it through word or might. Arcturus in not surprised at the sound of Eden's bark, black ear flicking back and his unique gaze drifting over to the form of the multicolored male. The alpha sits at a comfortable distance, one that did not intrude upon either of their personal spaces. Silence befalls them as the child of hell fire makes no attempt to speak, content to his thoughts and the presence of the wolf he had chosen to follow. "Arcturus," his name grabs his attention fully, the last time he had heard his real name used from his mother's lips. Nothing shows on his features however, no emotion; he had trusted Eden with his real name, something not even his imprint Ankh had been gifted with. To the world, he was Sauron, but to a few, he was Arcturus. "Eden,", the boy says back, his baritones deep with acknowledgment and greeting to the male that sinks down beside him.

"I am glad to find that you have returned to Glorall once more." Eden says, his lips turning up into a small grin as soulless eyes drift completely off of the black abyss of the ocean to the male. In return, black lips find the subtlest of quirks upward, despite how off he may seem, nothing was shown without his willingness. "It is nice to be back home. There is a lull upon the mountain and within diveen, and so I wait to see whom spirane elects as their new leader and whether Achilles returns to the throne he so suddenly abnegated or if any, be it angel or otherwise, contests for the ravines," his words are calm, almost monotone as he offers incite into his mind, what he has been doing of late while also showing that he did find the beaches to be his new home. So much had happened, and it was not surprising that the phantom would be stalking the borders of these two packs, even dancing within them to get a better understanding of anything underlying...that the wolves might like to hide. The golden touched boy wanted nothing more than to know, to know why Achilles left, to know if the wolves would turn against their new alpha in exchange for one whom had been loyal upon the mountain for many years. Fortunately, patience was one of Arcturus's virtues, and he would wait within the shadows, watching closely as he always did.

Arcturus has never been the best conversationalist, better than his litter mate Segin perhaps, but given more to silence than wasted word. For whatever reason, one the male could not place, he found him self trusting of Eden, more open than with anyone outside of his mother There was something that drew Arcturus closer to the male, it confused him, and so he treaded carefully. Trust was something earned, and though the ocean alpha was well on his way to completely earning it, it could also be retracted so easily. So the skeleton male waited, waited for Eden to dip his foot farther in the waters, ask the questions Arcturus knew crossed his mind.
