Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Her pride withered at seeing his rolling laughter! However, she couldn’t help catch the infectious enjoyment, so despite her squashed pride, she felt elated at seeing him totally reversed from his previous depression. Dragonfly’s eyes widened in astonishment when she felt Fritto’s tongue pin her cheek fur upwards. She held her breath and then burst out in giggles along with him. She barked back to him delightfully, “Oh! Of course. Why didn’t I think that?”

She bounced on her rock and crouched readied herself to try again with her tail waving pleasantly behind her. Then, in a burst of sparkling spray, a fish took flight. Dragonfly’s heart seemed to leap in anxiety - she wanted so badly to impress Fritto! Her jaws opened, and she struck out, clamping her jaws securely around the fat body of the prey. Astonished, she blinked, danced on her paws, and squeaked in surprise when the fish started wildly convulsing. Dragonfly’s head shook with effort at trying to keep the fish from freeing itself.

Quickly, she bounded over rocks back to shore, and through the fish down onto the ground with a loud crack of scales on damp rock. The fish stilled; stunned or dead from the impact. She danced around her prey and celebrated by tossing her head back and howling a happy little victory. Oh yeah! Who was an angler now?!
