aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.
In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.
You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.
"I'm Hell Demon."
His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.
"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."
His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.
"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."
It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

_________________________________________________________________________ The young femme was surprised that she remembered as much as she did from her first healing lesson. When Hellene had asked her and Sebring to go out and get the herbs and supplies that they had already been taught about, it was not hard for Khaleesi to find them this time. She had practiced searching for them in her spare time and knew were some supplies were now. As she came back to the clearing with her moss, poppy, and garlic, she began pasting one of her front paws with a mossy substance, just as she had been shown before. She knew what to expect this time and it was easier than in the past. Her mother walked to both of them, inspecting their plants and there work. Khaleesi was happy that she had correctly found poppy this time and did not mix it up with another plant as she had done in the past. "Much better, both of you. Practice makes perfect... The femme nodded to her mother, giving her a brief, proud smile, before turning back to her work. As Khaleesi and Sebring were finishing their casts, they were joined by Vita. The younger femme was the same snow white color as Khaleesi. Hellene took a moment to catch up the other femme on what instructions had been given for this lesson while Khaleesi headed out to find the new herbs. The femme walked carefully and slowly through the trees, taking her time to try and find he correct plants on her first try this time. She had learned how to be more patient, and she knew it didn’t matter if she made it back first or not. As long as she found the right plants she would be happy. There were a few times that she thought she had found one of the three new plants, but either the color was slightly off or the shape was not right. Her green orbs made sure to look over the leaves, petals, and stems before choosing it as a correct plant and taking it in her jaws. She remembered what each one had looked like from Hellene’s example plants, and it made it much easier to find the herbs. As she made her way back to the clearing, she saw that Vita was still there but Hellene and Sebring had not yet returned. She went and sat beside the younger femme, laying her herbs out for her mother’s inspection once she would return. After some time, the other pair of females reappeared, Sebring carrying her own plants. Hellene confirmed that Khaleesi had found the correct herbs, she gave her mom another smile before listening to further instructions. She was surprised when Hellene asked her to teach Vita about what had been done at their last lesson, not realizing that Hellene already trusted that she had mastered those skills, but she was happy to do so. She would be sure to start digging her own garden and stores for her own plants once she had finished with Vita. Sebring and Hellene headed off to Sebring’s den, and Khaleesi’s green orbs turned to Vita. She smiled at the younger femme, happy to have something to distract herself and have something fun to do. ”So Vita, I’m going to teach you about moss, poppy, and garlic.” Before she could even begin her first lesson, they were joined by an unwelcomed guest. A large, menacing, black snake slithered through the brush and became visible to both of them. Khaleesi had seen snakes around here before, and they didn’t usually do anything. Snake and wolf would often ignore each other and go about their own ways, no big deal. For whatever reason, Vita did not know this and instead leapt to her paws, lunging with a growl at the snake. Before Khaleesi could warn her to back off, the snake had lashed out, its fangs sinking into Vita’s untainted white chest. The smaller femme cried out and tried to back away, but the viper was hanging on. Khaleesi acted quickly, her own daggers grasped the snake, killing it and pulling it off at the same time. Khaleesi tossed the snake aside, green orbs looking to Vita with concern. Luckily, she seemed okay. There was a small trail of blood coming down her chest, staining her otherwise pure white pelt. ”Are you alright, Vita?” It seemed for now that the younger femme was okay. Khaleesi helped clean off the wound that had already stopped bleeding, and began telling her about how to use the plants. Khaleesi did not realize that the snake had been venomous, but after some time, as the venom worked its way into Vita’s blood stream, the younger femme began to show signs of pain and discomfort. The femme was unsure what to do, never having dealt with something like this before. When Vita collapsed to the ground, panic overtook Khaleesi and she yelled out for Hellene, not knowing what else to do but to look to her mom for help. When Hellene came back and realized what had happened, she told Khaleesi that there was nothing they could do, there was no antidote for this snake’s venom. She wrapped her form around Vita’s smaller, convulsing one, trying to comfort her with her last moments. As the teen lay dead, Khaleesi’s tear brimmed eyes looked to her mother, unsure of what to do now. OOC: So I just made all this up like we talked about, but if you want me to change anything let me know!
