The moon trickled through the leaves. Wind rustled, blowing the leaves even more, causing the rays of light to bounce across the girl’s face. She was beautiful, a mix of whites, golds and reds. She was amazing to look at. So little, so lithe, and yet, there was something harsh about those eyes of hers. Pure gold eyes, yet in their depths, there was such violence. Such anger. No one could ever know the things she’s seen, the things she’s done. Her life has not been all roses; she was born of a lustful meeting that ended with just two lives. Hers, and her sister. Their parents never spoke again, and this one? Well, she’s changed in so many ways you’ll never want to hear it.
Her golden eyes watched the critters that ran like scared victims. No one dared step close to her. She looked innocent enough, but there was so much wrong about her, no one dared try. She moved then, her paw pressing down into the lush moss, a squish heard as the wet moss was pressed into nothing. Her graceful legs pressed her body forward. Head held high, her ears twisted outward, a sneer on those perfect lips. disgraceful world. They didn’t deserve her presence; they didn’t deserve to breathe the same air she did. They were nothing her thoughts swirled into the black abyss that was her world. No one heard her speak anymore, no one dared to wonder why.
At least, that was how it was before. Now. Now she wasn’t so certain. Back home in Moladion. This would be an interesting thing, that was certain. She wasn’t coming home to her mother, father, or siblings, full or half. No thoughts of them had really. Mere wonders, yes, but she never really worried about them. Her father was a supposed big shot in this world. But to her, he had never really been much of a father figure. Not that she ever really wanted to try to deal with him. She wasn’t interested in being a daddy’s girl, or anyone’s girl for that matter. She had it up to her neck in dealing with boys on the outside of Moladion. She wasn’t about to deal with them here. Imprint or not. She was not going to deal with it.
She walked through the marshes of the woodland, heading towards the rocky outcropping that had been her favorite as a child. She loved the grotto as a baby. And she was hoping it was going to be the same now. She was getting closer to being three, and she didn’t want to know what that meant, not really. She didn’t know that most at that age thought of getting an imprint, falling in love, having a family of their own. But she didn’t know that was never going to be in her cards. The family part, at least. See, something had gone wrong when she was developing as an embryo. She was sterile. She didn’t know that though, and would never know that. She never planned on having pups, or wanting too, so the little bits of info regarding that would never come to light.
Her mud caked paws pressed firmly into the rocks as she lifted her slight frame up atop the highest rocks in the grotto. On the top of the caves, she stood, a light form in the night. A deep breath was taken, wondering if anyone would care that She was home. Home
