Stateline Tournament #1-2016
IP: 70.160.156.243

This Saturday, March 26th, marks the first tournament in the 2016 Stateline Bass Anglers Tournament Trail. Location of this event is the West Landing Marina. Blast off will commence at 6:50 AM, thus all competitors should be in the water, ready to fish, not later than 6:30 AM. The boater drawing the highest number, will continue to control the blast off. Running lights are required until sunrise. This tournament will be my first as Stateline's Tournament Director so please be kind. The tournament officially ends at 3:00 PM. David Dozier has volunteered to help out during this season by weighing our fish, and this is greatly appreciated. Please remember to bring your catch to the scales in a bag filled with enough water to keep your catch alive and healthy, provided by you. Time things so that you don't end up in a line waiting to weigh your fish. At this tournament, I will inspect the livewell on all boats used in competition. You must demonstrate that your aerator and lights actually work before launching your boat. Since the ramp at West Landing Marina is a fee-based one, be prepared to pay me the ramp fee of $5.00. Following this, you will draw a number to determine in what order you will leave the blast off area. Caution: The river area adjacent to the old Captain George's property (soon to be another fee-based boat launch) is still a no wake zone and law enforcement personnel have been seen nearby glassing over boats...enough said. Following weigh in, President John Harmon will supervise the 50/50 drawing and pay place-of-finish awards. Finally, thanks to all of you who have decided to fish with Stateline Bass Anglers this year. I look forward to our season.
