Gendry could not think back to a time he had been able to wander off by his own. The star-touched angel boy was always being watched by his parents or followed around by his brother, or vice versa following his brother around to make sure he stayed out of trouble. But today was a nice day, the leaves had changed color signaling fall was in full affect and the chill in the air told of winter being just around the corner. Awkwardly large paws carried the growing boy out of the ravine pack into the freelands. The last time he had been out here was when he had followed his mother out to keep an eye on her when she had a panic attack and fled from the threat of Zeus. Knowing that Zeus was free made Gendry weary, if the male attacked his mother for simply being associated with his father, he knew he would try to kill him for being their son and being a angel by blood. It confused him but he did not dwell on it, rather he kept him alert as he walked aimlessly, unsure of where he desired to go, nor really knowing what he would find.
His obsidian nose twitches as he intakes the scents on the breeze, blue eyes flickering around at his surroundings as he moved quietly. His body was lanky, still filling out as he slowly stretched out; he would retain his awkward adolescent figure for a while until his father's genes kicked in and filled him out properly. Black paws trotted along through the trees until his ears heard the sound of a running water source that peeked his interest. His tongue hung out of his mouth, sign of how far he had walked through out the day, having gotten a very early start in order to sneak out from under the watchful gaze of his parents. His pace quickened as he desired a drink, wondering just how far he had walked and knowing he would probably need to turn back soon lest he get home too late and get in trouble.
As he moves, a yell catches his attention, stopping him in place and body at attention as his ears swivel like radars to find the source. His head tilts in confusion and curiosity as he moves slowly once more towards the source, blue eyes locking onto a small girl, younger than him, wandering by herself. She seemed a little flustered by something and Gendry was a good natured boy, a gentleman.
