Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna tilted her head slightly to tap her’s against Sif’s in a silent and fond greeting. Ever since her return to the beach land she had still felt a special warmth when she was around her family. After seasons of being lost, even something so simple as a friendly touch was enough to make the young girl’s heart warm and remind her she was still loved by those of her blood. It was everything that kept her tail wagging happily behind her.

She knew her sister was fierce and vicious where she was less so. It did not keep her from having a little bit of a different streak in her. Casting a quick glance and a playful smirk at Sif, Inanna got to her super white paws and started padding around the crying Mihr. Her tail was high and she sniffed at him. There were so many things they could do that would have pleased all of them. She did not want to hurt the boy, as Sif probably did, but she could still play with him.

Don’t you know? Wolves of the Glorall are part of the ocean. We are all but born of it. The scent on their coats was thick with the salty spray. Sand seemed to fall from their fur no matter where they were visiting. Even their fur was often damp with the humidity from the ocean weather. What it would have been like to truly be part of the powerful waves, just as she had dreamed of dancing in the thunderous storms. Her eyes lit up at the idea and she adopted the feeling, wearing it like a blanket over her fur.

As she circled behind him for the second time, she looked between him and Sif, watching to make sure he kept his eyes on the fierce warrior, and giving her sister a signal to try to keep his attention. Behind him, she ducked into a play bow, her hind and tail high.If it releases you, we catch you! With kinder laughter the only warning, she moved to tackle him to the sand, her tail wagging furiously. Her attack wasn’t long and she rolled back over to her sister.
