She hadn't left the Dale since she noticed that her belly was getting swollen, choosing instead to retreat to the quiet forest. She was here, enjoying the quiet chirping of the birds when the pains started, mildly at first but then they got stronger until she was forced to lay down. She pushed and pushed until she felt the first of the foals leave her body, she was just standing up when another contraction ripped through her, sending her to the ground once more. Pushing until the second foal leaves her, she turns her head, certain that both are dead. She spies the blood between her legs and turns her attention to the foals, one she knows for certain is dead, its body has already begun to decay.
She spies a flicker of movement in the other one and starts to clean her off, ignoring the exhaustion that she feels. She finishes cleaning her off, she collapses from the lack of blood and she is almost certain that the same fate will await this little one, but a flicker of movement catches her eye, "Flynn? " He nods, his horn glowing as he puts it to the filly's head, "Take care of yourself Rapunzel." with that he's gone and she's left alone, she stands up and goes to check on her daughter. The filly opens her eyes and looks around, Rapunzel for the first time notices the horn on her head. "Your name shall be Rizpah, my little hope bringer, " Rapunzel says, nuzzling Rizpah to stand up. She succeeds on the second try, trotting over to her dam, she pokes her head underneath Rapunzel and proceeds to suckle fiercely until she's full. Rapunzel looks up at the sky through the tree tops, it's night and she knows that she must get herself and her daughter down out of the forest. She nuzzles Rizpah to follow her and off they go, it's not until they're down by lake that Rapunzel lets out a call to Rhaego, letting him know where she's at.
