The puppy that met Tithe’s eyes brought a smile to their oddly warm metallic depths. She smelled of the mountains and she shined with the spirit of a youth who had a lot of life to live and enjoyed it. Her mask gave her an air of mystery that intrigued him. Just looking at her he thought of where she might go in the pack, and what her future would be amongst the ranks. Everything about her howled potential.
