Runners - PEI Roadrunners are teaming up with Race Event Guide!
IP: 142.177.188.129

Greetings Runners, I have news!

In the spirit of cooperation, we're teaming up with Atlantic Canada's own Race Event Guide RaceEventGuide.ca!

When you visit our Schedule and click on the "Details" link for any given race, you will now be taken to a dedicated page for that event at Race Event Guide. Race Event Guide offers the latest in website design. Their website works on all devices so the Event page will look great on an iPhone or a tablet. Race Event Guide, as well as the PEI Roadrunners, will help promote sanctioned events through Facebook and Twitter. They have a dedicated PEI page on their website (http://raceeventguide.ca/prince-edward-island/) that provides visitors to their site with quick access to current upcoming PEI events.

Visit our Schedule, and see what you think! (If you start at Race Event Guide's PEI Page, after clicking to "open event", click the "Learn More" link on that brief event page to take you to the full, dedicated Event Page that we are linking to)

All our other webpages will remain as they are, the only difference will be that the individual Event Page will be created & hosted at Race Event Guide, not the PEI Roadrunners. We will continue to create & host the schedule, but clicking on the "Details" link there will take you to the Race Event Guide Listing. They will be including all the important information we've been giving you and more.

If you have any questions or concerns about this joint venture, please voice them. I do believe this will work very well for everyone concerned, Race Directors, Runners (Members & Non-Members), Race Event Guide, The Roadrunners Club (and their President/Webmaster) and the many charities benefiting from PEI Roadrunners sanctioned events.

As the new President of the PEI Roadrunners Club, I'm working very hard to improve the services we offer our membership and Race Directors. I hope you will support these changes and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I firmly believe that by supporting Race Directors, helping them to plan and promote well organized, safe events, that we are supporting our Membership & the running community and fulfilling our mandate to "promote the sport of running on PEI, and to encourage all Islanders to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle!"

The season is off to a great start with the Freeze Your Gizzard, St. Patrick's Day Run & Bunny Hop in the books. I'm looking forward to more great things happening this 2016 race season!
