Stateline Tournament #2 is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th on the Perquimans River in Hertford, NC. Tournament hours are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. This time of year, the river is apt to be crowded and the parking near the ramp, limited. I will be at the ramp about 5:00 AM. When you arrive to launch your boats, you can draw your blast off order there. Members fishing alone or with a minor should plan on arriving early enough to ensure they find room to park in the lot next to the ramp. All other two-man teams should have one member of their team ferry their tow vehicle to the park located a couple of blocks from the ramp (the same one we have used previously). We will blast off from the same area we always use upriver of the ramp. Running lights must remain on prior to daylight. Not later than 3:00 PM, all contestants must have checked in with the tournament director who will be in the same area as the morning blast off. Then, you may recover your boat using the Hertford ramp and return to the park where the weigh in will be held, OR - you may opt to tie off to the dock in the weigh in area, weigh your fish, and then go to the ramp to retrieve your boat. It is up to you. As usual, your patience and understanding will go a long way in ensuring all contestants have a good day of fishing.
